The First Month of College: I am so Confused
I'm done with my first month in college.
It was definitely felt like an entire year's worth of ups and downs squashed down into one month. I feel like I've been in college for years when in reality it's only been one fourth of the first year. To explain college to you guys who are curious about the experience rather than the technical "requirement" aspects of college (like what classes, units etc. etc.), I'll sort out all the categories and random things I went through the first month.

Summer 2k15: Adventures All the Way!
This summer has been long gone for all the students who live in the US. But for me, the end of summer has just come. Those endless all nighters thanks to several t.v. shows and youtube videos, those hot summer days where I just want to soak my body in an ice bath, and those fantastic adventures with friends have finally mashed together to form the summer of 2015. It all felt like a mix of the stereotypical California summer, with the undeniable laziness that usually hits students during the summer months. Just for fun, here are some of the things that I did during my summer:

College Countdown: One Week Before Move-in Day
- one week before move-in day -
Everyone on my college Facebook page just want to move into the dorms to start their college life with full force.
People on the FB page:
"Ugh summer is so boring! I can't wait to move in!"
"I can't wait to be on my own!! Excited to meet yall!!"
"All my friends are gone and I just want to start school already..."
"Uh...why can't it be Sept. blah blah?"

Pre-College Guilt: The Struggle of an Unemployed & Confused Young Lady
I like to think that I "lack direction" versus I "lack motivation".
The very first day of summer, I applied for all the open jobs less than a mile away from my home. This was because I still don't have a driver's license thanks to that mandatory $300 6-hour driving class they make you take (if you're a minor in the US).
I spent an entire week hunting down those minimum wage jobs and filling out repetitive resume's only to be ignored by all 7 work places that I applied to. I was highly offended. I felt like a newly dumped ex-girlfriend.
"What did I do wrong? Was I not good enough? What does she have that I don't have?"

Tips for High School Freshmen
It's that time of the year again! Where summer comes to a close and the books start to open. Yup, it's back to school. While this isn't the most exciting part of the year, several of you are going to start high school, and I know from my experience that was pretty nerve wracking based on my own experiences, and I have written answered some general questions freshmen have about high school:
